Detailed Construction

The water baths are offered with a variety of lengths and cross section. The tank is 12 gauge stainless steel and the frame is of reinforced welded steel construction. The units include supply and drain piping with manual shut-offs along the full interior of the tank to insure uniform distribution of the cooling water.

Adjustable Features

Adjustable height hold down rollers are optional. There is an adjustable height drain for water level control for each tank section and an overflow drain at each end of the tank. Four "V" groove casters and four height adjusting leveling screws are provided.

Multiple Functions

The tanks are typically flooded and the extrudate is immersed in water. They can also be used as spray tanks with the mist spray option in which case a spray is utilized for cooling.
